Capt. Edward O.J. Lacy

January 2, 1925 – Sept. 7, 2015

Edward passed peacefully at the age of 90. He was born, raised and schooled on Isabella Point Road on Salt Spring Island.

Edward joined the RCAF at the age of 19 and worked for 41 years with the local ferries.

Edward is survived by his wife Mollie of 65 years, his children Jeffrey, Janet and Christine, grandchildren Josh, Chad and Erin, great grandchildren Ashton and Caleb, and brother and sister, Harold and Kathleen.

Edward was preceded in death by his son Robert Ian and sisters Ruby and Mary.

Thank you to Greenwood’s staff for the outstanding care they provided and to hospice who helped make Edward’s final days comforting.
