Artistic director of the Planet Earth Poetry reading series in Victoria has published three volumes of poetry: gnarled love (Ekstasis Editions, 2016), black onion (Goldfinch Press, 2012) and terrains (Ekstasis Editions, 2014). He has two chapbooks: street signs (Goldfinch 2016) and Interrupted (Goldfinch, 2015).  He has numerous academic publications and, with Shannon McFerran The Girls Diary Project (University of Victoria, 2013). He is an Associate Professor Emeritus from the University of Victoria, School of Child and Youth Care.
