WARREN E. (GENE) GRAHAM

September 9, 1915 – August 19, 2009

Sadly missed and never to be forgotten by family and friends near and far. Gene spent his early working life in Quebec as a Shift Boss in underground gold mines and later he moved into mining equipment sales. He was an adventurous man in thought and deed with a perpetually cheerful disposition and a sense of humour to match. His irrepressible creative ingenuity enabled him to fix anything that needed fixing or build anything that needed building and he generously extended his diligence and abilities toward anyone who needed a helping hand. Gene was devoted to his wife and the needs of his children and extended family always came before his own. He was a natural born musician and shone at family gatherings leaving a legacy of fond memories. Gene and his recently deceased wife, Dorothy of 67 years spent their retirement years on Salt Spring Island, BC where they enjoyed the happiest years of their life together close to family and many life long friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2009, 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Masonic Hall, 506 Lower Ganges Road, SSI, BC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salt Spring Seniors Services Society.
