Transgender Day of Visibility with Rae Spoon

DAISSI sponsored event celebrating the newfound visibility of all trans and gender diverse people in our society.  Featuring trans-activist, musician and storyteller Rae Spoon, who will share songs and stories and facilitate a community discussion. Harbour House Hotel at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. By donation.

Salt Spring Pride Festival: Parade and Party in the Park

Centennial Park Fulford Ganges Road, Ganges, Salt Spring Island, B.C., Canada

12:30 p.m.: Gather & welcome in front of Salt Spring Island Public Library on McPhillips Ave. 1 p.m.: Non-motorized Pride Parade through Ganges village, ending in Centennial Park. 1:30 to 3 p.m.: Party in the Park in Centennial Park. All ages dancing featuring DJs.
