Moira Elizabeth “Florence” Fraser

Moira Elizabeth “Florence” Fraser

Sept 29, 1932 – June 12, 2008

It is with great sadness that on June 12th Moira Elizabeth “Florence” passed away with her daughters Kathy, Terri and dear friend Bev at her side.  Flo lived a happy and joyful life for the past three years in Parksville where she was afforded the opportunity to be mobile even though confined to a wheelchair. She kept very busy with outings and events alongside Kathy and Flo’s ever faithful furry companion Bailey who never left her side. Flo had suffered a great many losses and obstacles in the past 8 years since losing her loving husband Pat, along with failing health, but she never wavered from her chipper and cheerful attitude.

She loved life, adored her many friends and was so very grateful to her caregivers. She was predeceased by her husband Pat in 2000 and leaves to mourn daughters Kathy (Ron) Qualicum Beach, Terri (Rob) Alberta, Debbie and son Dwayne, Saltspring Island, daughter in law Cindy, grandchildren Courtenay, Andrea, Kyle, Nicole and Michael, brother in law Doug (Bev) Fraser and her dear friend Bev Briggs. A private gathering will be held to honor Flo.
