died peacefully in his sleep after a valiant but short battle with cancer. At Greig’s request, there will be no service. A private gathering will be held at a date not yet fixed. Greig was born on Salt Spring Island on July 9, 1948 and died at his home in Crofton on June 24, 2010. Greig is predeceased by his father, Ivan Mouat, and his two brothers, Manson and Edward Mouat. He is survived by his mother, Sue Mouat, his birth daughter, Katya Hayes and three grandchildren, his brother, Jeremy Mouat, and his sisters Mary Mouat and Jen Ritson.
