Donna Gladys Jenkins (nee Myton)
Jan. 2, 1940 – Dec. 23, 2014
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Donna Jenkins on Dec. 23 at Lady Minto Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Deanna Jenkins (Brian Dawes) and Ian Jenkins (Karen Marcotte). Her five grandchildren, Derek Kitchen (Aurora Bodnar), Graham Kitchen (Katelyn Girard), Nicole Gent, Haley and Evan Jenkins. Donna also leaves three nieces, Tamara Lemky, Christine Steffich (Matt) and Kathryn Rush (Kyle Heeb), and four great nieces and nephews, Trevor, Sarah, Lilli and Dakota.
Donna was predeceased by her husband Maurice (Moe) Jenkins in 1983.
Donna and Moe were married in 1960 and moved to Salt Spring with their two children in 1973.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her Saturday and Sunday breakfast group, yoga, book club and walking at Fernwood.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Harbour House Orchard Room on January 2, 2015 from 12:00pm – 4:00 pm
