Police seek missing Sidney man on Salt Spring
Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Sidney resident Roderic Maynard, who was last seen getting off the ferry at the Fulford terminal on Jan. 28 at 11:37 a.m.
Salt Spring police say he has friends and family on Salt Spring, which may have been the reason he came to the island.
He was reported missing on Feb. 14.
Maynard is described as being 54 years old, 5'11'’, 220 lbs, and having short white/grey hair and brown eyes.
There is no indication at this time that foul play is involved, but Maynard’s family and friends are quite concerned about his disappearance and urge him to contact them or the closest police station.
Anyone with information respecting the whereabouts of Maynard is asked to contact the Salt Spring RCMP detachment at 250-537-5555, or the Sidney North Saanich RCMP at 250-656-3931.
