Black ice causes Fulford-Ganges truck-flipping incident
Salt Spring emergency services personnel blame black ice for a single-vehicle crash that saw a pick-up truck flip on Fulford-Ganges Road near Jones Road on Thursday morning just after 8 a.m.
Salt Spring Fire Chief Tom Bremner said no serious injuries resulted.
He also said more black ice is expected on Friday morning and extreme caution should be used when driving.
